When an agency manages its customers' websites and email, the last thing it wants is to send them to someone else's address. That is why the agency control panel can now serve two things on the agency's own domain.
The control panel on your domain
Your customers log in at panel.your-agency.com, or whichever subdomain you choose, instead of Intergrid's address. They manage their domains, hosting, mailboxes and invoices as usual, and they see your agency's logo in the header.
Once it is active, your customers always log in through your address: if they try ours, they are pointed to the agency's.
Webmail with your brand
From this month you can also have webmail at webmail.your-agency.com. Your customers read their email there with your logo, and they only need to type their username: the domain is added automatically. The "Open webmail" button in the panel already takes them to your address.
How to switch it on
- In the agency panel, open Agency settings → Agency.
- Enter the subdomain for the panel and, if you like, the one for webmail, and upload your logo.
- Add a CNAME record to your domain's DNS zone. The same screen tells you exactly which one.
- Within minutes we check the domain points correctly, issue the SSL certificate and switch it on. The certificate renews itself.
You don't need to move your domain or change your name servers: only that subdomain points to us.
Why it helps
- Customers associate the service with your agency, not with a provider they don't know.
- One address for everything: you provide the panel, the email and the support.
- You don't have to set up or maintain any server of your own to offer it.
Everything you can sell to your clients
The panel isn't just for websites. From the same place you can offer your clients everything they need, and you set the price you charge them:
- Hosting of every kind. Cloud hosting with your tier discount, and virtual (VPS) and dedicated servers at public rates. On servers we deploy our web and email platform at no licence cost, and they hold as many websites as the server can handle: every new website is margin.
- Domain registration and transfer, with volume pricing: the more domains you manage, the better the price. On a transferred domain you don't pay again for the time it already had.
- Intrabase Workspace: email, calendar, tasks, drive, documents and chat in a single workspace, with data stored in the European Union. It is ordered per client and per user at €4 + VAT a month with your tier discount, and 20% less with annual billing. Your agency doesn't need to use it itself.
- WebSentinel: security monitoring that checks websites every night and, if it finds malicious code, proposes a clean-up. It is bought by volume, in packs for 30, 250 or 500 websites, which you then activate site by site.
Your tier discount is your margin: 15%, 25% or 30% depending on the annual billing of your clients' services, and custom partner terms above €15,000 a year.
The main advantages of the agency panel
- Your whole portfolio in one place: clients, domains, hosting and contracts, with search and alerts for domains about to expire and hosting plans running out of space.
- A panel for each client, where they manage websites, email, DNS, backups and certificates on their own. You decide whether they can register domains or order hosting, and they never see the rest of your portfolio.
- Your own service plans, with the name, price, billing period and limits you choose. Contracts renew automatically.
- Delegated invoicing and collection, if you want it (5% of the amount invoiced): invoices with your brand, payment by card or direct debit, and continuous payouts to your account.
- Your servers in the same panel: status, real-time resources, Docker containers and virtual machines, and one-click restart.
- Free migration of your portfolio from Plesk, cPanel or DirectAdmin, which you can follow in real time.
- €0 sign-up and €0 maintenance, with no lock-in. You only pay for your clients' services.
