How to transfer a domain to Intergrid

Transfer your domain from another registrar to Intergrid quickly and easily.

Prerequisites

Before starting the transfer, make sure that:

  • The domain is more than 60 days old
  • The domain is not locked at the current registrar
  • You have access to the domain owner's email
  • You can obtain the authorization code (AuthCode/EPP)

Transfer process

To transfer a domain to Intergrid, visit www.intergrid.cat/en/domains/transfer and follow the steps indicated.

Unlock the domain

In your current registrar's control panel, unlock the domain to allow the transfer.

Obtain the authorization code

Request the authorization code (also called AuthCode or EPP code) from your current registrar. They usually receive it by email.

Start the transfer to Intergrid

Access the tauler de control d'Intergrid and go to the transfers section. Enter the domain name and authorization code.

Confirm the transfer

You will receive an email to confirm the transfer. Follow the instructions to complete the process.

Wait for completion

The process can take between 5 and 7 days. You will receive a confirmation when the transfer has been completed.

Important notes

You will not lose registration time

When transferring the domain, you will keep the remaining registration time and 1 additional year will be added.

The website will continue working

During the transfer process, your website and email will continue to work normally.
